Well the man was more then willing and put his name forward a week ago so I don't see the problem. If there are other contenders why haven't they shown the same willingness as Kevin?? If it were me I'd accept the man who's showing a real interest not the ones who "maybe'd" here and there!! I think wee Kenny Balmer was interviewed aswell. Not a bad choice either I suppose. Woudn't let them away with too much that's for sure!! |

kenny cant take us over he doesnt have the time. burgoyne was talking to him and he wroks every other sat. bobby and brian are doing a good job taking over at the minute temporily, i just want to focus getting back from injury and start training on mon.
i will be there on sat but to cheer on the mighty swifts.
if kevin wants to take charge he should get in contact way ohara or bobby, im sure they will be more and glad for someone to take charge so they can concentrate on playing

I have said I am more that willing to give it a go, but I would need 100% commitment from all the players, both at training and on the pitch on a Saturday morning, no time wasters

i agree way buvlyloy, we need a manager, and if kevin is willing to step up and take us on fair play it works for me, we have the team and the commitment, not having a manager is distracting the players from concentrating on playing.

I don't see a problem with it at all! few of my m8s and wee bro playing for northend said he was doing a good job with them! And fish your spot on about what you said in your last post.. We are all waiting on someone else to sort it out, but think Brian is the man to go too, Kevin! |

I think it's up to you guys to get together and agree as a group to the appointment of "The Walking Nose" and nominate someone to contact him and offer him the chance to do what clearly no one else is overly interested in doing. The sooner he gets in the sooner he sorts the club out. I have no doubt he'll be able to work with the squad of players at Swifts!!! Out of interest Kevin, who did you leave your number with?? |

i spoke to kevin today at the match and told him the craic
but the lads were discussing it in the changing room after it and said it wouldnt be a bad idea, i forwarded kevins number and said i wouldnt mind him taking charge
i have stated my opinion, we have to agree as a group though so we will see at training on monday
