just back from my 5 hour tescos induction brutal
fecking delighted with the positive turn out there was,
and that wasnt including me and markg. training on 9.45 on saturday get a good turn out and a good training session.
mon the wee swifts let the fight back begin prove we stilll have the team to challenge for the play-offs

Aw well I guess my source was maybe a week or 2 out but did i not say that a certain manager would be looking a new club shortly. Alas Bremner was asked to leave Penerol on Sat by the commity of the club and has been sacked as manager after making loads of promises to the club including bringing a load of money to the club from his business. Guess the credit crunch has hit him really bad these days and he couldnt 'buy' the players with his cash which I believe he was able to do in previous years. I took a lot of flack for saying that I knew he was on his last few games but I guess my source wasnt too far off the mark. No doubt he'l be back at Randalstown before too long. Stanley boi Oh.....long runs the Hare. At least I didnt quit and kept a great club from folding...... ;D  |

stan has left and moved on, its time we did aswell, the swifts are still going strong
everyone just has to help out abit until we get a new manager, we have a good set of players and no reason we cant survive until some1 takes the reigns

just like to wish the club all the best in the future,i am glad you lads are going to stick together,i am leavin as i want a new challenge boys and think now is the right time.....i would have been interested in takin over in a year or 2 down the line but still want a game on a sat morning :)without havin to worry to pick a team just yet.....like i said lads all the best for the rest of the season and goodluck...kirky  |

not signed for anyone yet pele mate but talk of towers pal.liked my time with the swifts and i was club captain but with big stan moving on and other players going i decided that it was right for a move myself  |

Let the battle commence im sure there's quite a few teams out there with there eyes on some of the swifts players but as we have seen at our club after a rocky start we have started to turn a corner and folding isnt the answer but dig in lads and heads up!!!! What about McCrudden?? Seriously!! I'm glad to hear someone took my humble advice!!! I heard there from a very reliable source that someone from Swifts has approached Kevin McCrudden about taking over. I think he'd do well as now he has something to prove after all the carry on at Northend. Why not lads?? Fair play Crudds and best of luck if you take it on!! |

Good to hear that the Swifts are still going! I hope you turn things around guys! I'll always have a special place in my heart for the club even if it wasn't the same for me personally after Paul packed it in. Definitely enjoyed my best years at the club from 2003-2006 and was great getting promoted and winning back to back Sammy Moore cups! Good luck guys!

If there are other contenders why haven't they shown the same willingness as Kevin?? If it were me I'd accept the man who's showing a real interest not the ones who "maybe'd" here and there!! |
