Paul Devlin seems to be a great player and a great addition to the squad! Really good to get back and at it again last night and see (most of) the familiar faces again!! Pele - i hear you are trying to get me booted by a particular family member in order to sway him to sign in our pre-season Friendly!!??

Got another couple signed up tonight... Chris McGaughy... Super big lad and looking very determined to get himself fit for the new season. Great right foot on Chris and a good addition to the squad. Anthony Craig...Another young lad. Blistering pace and will give any fullback a torrid time. 2 other lads there tonight so hopefully get them on forms as I made them an offer so they are thinking bout it over the next few days and their agents will get back to me

Lads I had the privledge to play alongside the one and only Gareth Burnside tonight in a wee football competition. Stan your lucky Pele wasnt there wasnt there scouting tonight as he may have wanted young Kevin Arnold to sign for Broadway never mind his brother after his performance. Not only did he score 2 wonder goals(which Im sure he'll not tell you about ) he was also like John Terry at the bacak (dirty bas over talking to our WAG's as soon as the rest of this teams backs were turned ) Only gave Smiley 4 kicks through our game against his team, unfortunatley those 4 kicks resulted in 4 goals!

LOL Mitty!! ;D I must agree with the 2 wonder goals....and the John Terry remark but giving away 4 goals......hmmmm did one of them not go through your legs Mitts!? You forgot to say that i saved 2 off the line as well!! "Old Pele" wouldnt want me, I think he wants to see a 'Burnside Scuffle" in pre-season!!!

It was good crack more than anything mate. First time ive kicked a ball since I wrecked myself against Connor so was good 2 get back playing a wee bit. Smiley team was him, the legend tuna, dean dunlop, a wee man roy in nets and some other guy I know from the area but cant mind his name. £160 raised for Cancer research too.

What pitch was used for it? the fenced off front pitch at Dunclug high school. It was in decent enough knick to be fair.
