Just like to welcome young Aaron Kerr to the swifts. He came to training last night and signed on the dotted line tonight.
He's a big strong boy and he'l get a few games for us this season and we wish him all the best with us.

He's strong as a bull, will hopefully bustle a few defenders about and give us somethin a little different up front.

....he's new to the game at this level so still has a lot to learn but there's no doubt what so ever if you give him a chance he strike it. To be fair to him he's spent the entire season up to now at a Broadway team very strong in attacking options so didn't get much of a look in. His attitude has been first class (folk like myself with nowhere near his attitude) and even though he hasn't got a game he's continued all season to train every night and turn up on saturday.
Like I say he's still learning and hasn't much game play to have learned much but he has ability and I'm sure he'll score goals for you!!!!
Great signing for you and everyone at Broadway Celtic wish him the very best of luck and hope to see him and the Swifts doing well!!!!!

i didnt know you had made another comeback fishter

Post by mrfish on Mar 4, 2010 13:24:51 GMT
...lol, yes ANOTHER comeback.
I was out after an op last Christmas, at which point I'd got myself fit and down to 12 stone, and wasn't allowed to do anything until the summer. I started pre season training in July weighing in at a total combined weight of 14 and a half stone. Basically three stone overweight considering my ideal playing weight is 11 and a half. What a struggle it's been!! I can't shift under the 13 and a half mark but I was out with a knee injury from the end of october until after Christmas. Those two months set me back big time but I'll keep battling as I don't want to be in the position where I'm facing ANOTHER comeback!!! lol....

Yeah he'l get game time with us at the swifts and hopefully with my expert tuituin he'l develope into a quality player.
The starting line up for Broadway is 1st class and they would get playing for any team in the bsml so maybe a wee move to us is what the young lad needs.
Again he is some lump of a lad and he'l def bump a few lads about on a sat morning.

Looks like word has spread about the benefits of travelling with management. Some folk will try anything ;D so it looks like I'll be left out with it only being a small car. And we don't have the luxury of a big silver bus like All Saints do.....
