Bmena firestation moving up to ballee high school gravel pitches ... fully floodlite 3g pitch , the two current pitches to b fully floodlite . goin to b sum set up .. tho us bsml teams arent goin to b able to book it as Carniny youth want a full time lease. atm carniny youth have the 3g showgrounds to train on at a low charge . now they want ballee.... surely fc penoral, carniny southside, ahoghill thistle will b hoping to get a lease from this as we r current users

Great news! I'm sure everyone will get to use it, the important thing is there are new facilities and fair play to the council for providing them and great news that they'll be busy! clough, wakehurst, showgrounds new pitches & 3g, wakehurst muga, now ballee, the councillors are really looking after footballers, i think it's a really positive thing and def not something to be negative about.

At risk of sounding bigoted it just seems to me that Ballymena south gets everything, yea people can say we have the Showgrounds up here but it's monopolised by Ballymena and wakehurst whilst ourselves and north end have to take inconvenient times on 3G or in our case pay over the top for use of the astro turf!! We recently asked the council about possibility of getting temp lights for dunfane or Waveney and were told it was unlikely due to financial restraints but then these great plans are unveiled!! Bit of a joke if ye ask me as it doesn't cater for everyone in the town!! Rant over!!

Carniny amateurs are now using half the 3G on Wednesday from 7-8, when it was originally booked for Carniny youth. Probably paying youth rates aswell!!

Have also heard that there is a full size 3g pitch and something similar to the Muga pitch going to Waveney. Just to get one point clear, the Ballymena showgrounds is situated in the Ballymena south area. This leaves Ballymena North with Dufane and Waveney. Think the boys at the top of the town need to get together to make sure the Waveney project happens before the Council even think about Ballee. 95 percent of the funding rerquired for Waveney is already in place as far as i am aware.

Some spot ......place could do with alot of TLC! Council seem to have abandoned it since it was built. Not safe for kids! Venom, get it sorted!!

I think both our communities have came on enough to deal with these time slots in a fair and unsectarian way. I'd like to think so anyway

why does religion always get dragged into the bloody conversation? Ballymena as a whole currently have and plan to improve gheir already good facilities for football. Look at antrim for example. we train indoor at a school on tuesdays and in the dark mud pit that is muckamore cricket club on a thursday. Consider yourselves lucky. Maybe i could get Moylena down to the fancy new facilities at ballee. I pay my rates in ballymena after all

It's going to be so big that it will cover the Rugby club and the first few holes of the golf club
Until I see the diggers moving in, I'm filing it away under Bullsh7t
