why does religion always get dragged into the bloody conversation? Ballymena as a whole currently have and plan to improve gheir already good facilities for football. Look at antrim for example. we train indoor at a school on tuesdays and in the dark mud pit that is muckamore cricket club on a thursday. Consider yourselves lucky. Maybe i could get Moylena down to the fancy new facilities at ballee. I pay my rates in ballymena after all  It isn't about religion in this case we at all saints have a Protestant playing for us but I still don't think we would be welcome training in an area in harryville or ballee?? Yes our town has come a long way thanks mainly to football but there is still a lot of bigotry in the town and that is a fact!! I was just raising the point at the beginning that the areas being developed all seem to be in one area!! Which isn't lies!! |

Just out of interest? What area is the show grounds? You know the place with the astro turf pitch, the 3G pitch and a few grass pitches???

When we were meeting with the council about the facilities at Waveney i was told that on the map of Ballymena the Showgrounds is in The south of Ballymena. We also had a meeting with Nelson McCausland who is in charge of DSD money and although he thought all areas of Ballymena could do with upgraded facilities he could not believe that an area like the Doury Road exists in Ballymena. |

yes rab ... them 3 areas have the land to put this 2g on to .the fundings goin thru atm . fingers crossed these 3 villages get this . much needed as the training area are poor atm . |
