Thistle men seem to have a problem with a coach learning his trade.

Dont know what badges Dobbies has but, as far as I know UEFA A is the minimum requirement to manage an Irish League club.

Not sure Jeff but, I think Rodney McAree is having problems cos he hasn't the necessary badges. The fact Darren Murphy has pulls him out I think.

This is the unfortunate thing with having to do courses to be qualified to coach, so many good football men just either could't be bothered going through the process or can't afford it.
Just because you have a piece of paper to say you have a certain level of coaching qualification don't mean you can coach imo, so much more to managing a football team.
Don'y get me wrong i would like to do some more coaching courses in the future as i found it very interesting, my point really is that so many great football brains leave football once they stop playing.

To have to have the same qualifications to manage irish league (part time football) is a joke and without doubt puts folk off for various reasons, money being a huge issue.

What's he doing taking team talks? "Right lads, go out and play football....if you need a drink, raise yer hands and I'll sort yese out with some water. At no time, EVER, approach my collection of water bottles without my permission AND supervision".... How can ye insult the opposition manager talking about water bottles?? "Another thing fellas, if yese happen to find yerselves at the other side of the pitch, about to die of thirst, just die. Their manager is the worst at buying bottles for the water ever I seen...he wouldn't know hot from cold. He hasn't even got his UEFA badge on water bottle tightening ffs"....
