Do Galgorm get the points since they were winning when the match was abandoned?  it will b replay at another ground ... surely this wont b swept below the carpet like other games this year ..... prob get a warning  |

Where u there goram ?? There was no 1 jumping any1 from our team 1 for galgorms sideline did a full sprint towards the changing rooms which lead to both teams following behind. And the ensuing brawl which followed was quickly sorted out.

this game was played at at a neutaral venue... galgorm wher quite rightly 2 up and yes the better team!!! other teams and managers need to but the f**k out u twats!!! yes galgorm player headbutted my midfeilder andy... both players sent off... sideline viewers dont need to get involved (galgorm) we dont mind stayin in 3rd next yr not like some teams who already have been stuffed and cant get over it..... donko and diff stay the fuk out... posted by c foster... ps galgorm may have won the battle but didnt win the war... knobs

If u hadda been there u wud have seen that it was actually one of our players who went to break it up who was on the ground getting kicked! Unless u were there keep your opinions to yourself!! No place for any of it at a game of football but the stirrers are just as bad!!

how long was gone in the match before this lads. is there not a rule if the game gets abandoned after a cert time the score stands eg 60/70mins. might just b making that uo but think i heard it b4

In fairness after speaking with a reliable source who would give me the facts straight. I started when two players headed towards the changing room and went at it. Then Athletico player went down to get his player in and Galgorm thought he was going to jump in. Both teams ended up going at it. With an innocent player from Athletico getting punch 3 times and the Galgorm player who got sent off booting him in the head while on the ground...from what I can gather both teams sorted it out after... |

Goram as you werent there you obviously heard this story from a galgorm player. Think you'll find that it was the galgorm players who left the field first. It was their player who got sent off that waited for our player as he wanted to continue fighting. While they had their handbags out the wee lads da sprinted across the pitch followed by galgorm players. Between him and his da it was they who started on us.
Both teams asked the ref to continue with the game but he declined. There's was certainly no bullying from us and I'n fact galgorm are to blame for the match being called off.

Never nice to see things like this, only a game of football lads. Surely there will be some repercussions out of this. Be interesting to see the referee's report lol ;D To be honest i couldn't see Galgorm winning this one, pity the handbags couldn't have stayed away and the game been allowed to finish.  |

what way does it work bit unfair for a team to replay 90 mins when they were 2.0 up wit about 30 mins left. kicked a fella on the ground in the head... brave boy

Faults with both sides but if someone from galgorm had of taken the lad away from the pitch when it was clear what he was waiting for it could have been prevented. They only have themselves to blame if they lose out in the rearranged game.
That came from someone who watches our games and was only there as our game was off so would be a neutral

Well i have played against both this season and we didn't have any bother with Galgorm. Antrim away i thought there sideline were very very mouthy, and they couldn't keep 11 on the pitch that day either although for mouthing rather than anything dirty. Not saying Antrim are to blame for this, just that it seems when things are not going there way then the discipline goes out the window. Maybe its the pressure getting to them. ;D ;D  |

but can anyone let me know why Athletico v Galgorm game was abandoned due to a brawl when Galgorm were leading 2 nil.
