O'Neill is shorter in the betting to be the next ROI gaffer than NI so that tell's it own story, as they always say the bookies are never far away. You are probably right, but sure that keeps the ROI policy inline to have foreign coaches managing their national side... ;D ;D

If its true Alex Bruce will be playing for N.Ireland after this campain then its very very unlikely then Jim Magilton will have anything to do with the squad. It could go the other way where if Magilton takes the job Bruce wont play for N.I. but considering we hardly have any defenders id say the IFA will want Bruce in there (even though he's sh!te too )

lol, mciroys as much chance as dobey getting it. I'd love M.O'Neill to take it due to the fact he's a great manager...would get more out of the players & it would stick two fingers up at a good few people & would hope stop younger players defecting. craigain would be a choice as P/T assistant as again I think he'd install a great mentality into all the players of what it means to play for OWC. I also think that MoN would stop this dropping out of matches. if that doesnt happen. gerry taggart/ian dowie/jim magilton they're all much the same & we'd just have to put up with the fact we'll never pull a "big" manager. can't see michael o'neill leavin club football at the minute but it would be great to see a good brigadie man in charge rant over as it's 5 GAWA

The only person IMO of bringing something different to owc is Martin oneill anyone else would be exactly the same as Worthington. Maybe Michael oneil and magilton, but not on their own.

what has martin oneil ever achieved to make him such a great manager..hed only walk away when the going gets tough like he has done throughout his management career. lets face it without henrik larsson scoring 90 goals a season in a s**te league he would never been mentioned for a big job. personally wouldnt want him anywhere near the northern ireland post.
walter smith for me.

just my opinion reva...dont rate martin oneil as a manager. cant cope with pressure and has only made it in scotland. wycomb and leicester is hardly much to shout about. like i said would love ifa to go for a proven manager with international experience like walter smith...otherwise oneil, magilton, dowie might as well give it to big davy jefferies he would do just as good!
