Will go for the Homers this year.So unlucky last year but feel there time has come.Playing some amazing pre season football.Carniny will score plenty but i feel there defence and goalkeeper still need to be strengthened and this will be the deciding factor.All saints are strong to but a lot of new faces and need a year together first.Possibly next year Saints have a better chance to push to the end,but you never know..

And how were they not.A full strength Homers team last year against Carninys best 11 would have won and you know it.Just a shame with injuries etc.Carniny need a decent keeper any old hand will tell you thats prob the worst in the clubs history if they want a decent junior cup/shield run this year to.Just my opinion Homers were unlucky.Not the only person saying it.Carniny are vulnerable at the back and can be exposed by strong opposition.Its there weak link that will cost them the title this year..

lol. well said lenny. boom, you do know that the homers wernt the only team with injuries last season. ffs we had more than our fare share as im sure did all saints and the rest.
its a bit unfair to say mccosh is a weak link considering he has 8 or so league medals and lets in the least goals each season. or maybe thats because the defence is that good, o wait there the weak link too!!!
dont get me wrong, i have a lot of respect for the homers. they are a very good side. some great players. but im sure they are not making any excuses for not winning the league.
all if buts and maybes.

Didnt say the defence was the weak link.McCosh is by no means a good keeper when you look at others in the junior cup or shield.Comparing him to Brian Martin there is a hell of a difference or Boomer Balmer etc.We wont go down the road of ex Carniny keepers cos he is at the bottom of the pecking order.But the truth be told its a nightmare to get a good keeper at the moment.I feel McCosh is the weak link.He lets in some stinkers.Old Carniny men chat about them all the time.Look Frog just my opinion dont get rattled.Only a prediction.Get back to me and win this debate your starting with a pic of you's holding the league trophy end of season.not going to happen .And i am just saying this will be the reason why.The untouchables are about to get dethroned :-)
