was good game on sat youngster, draw fair result, we also had to stick an outfield player in nets as we had no keeper but both actually done well and didnt look out of place.
we had a big squad on sat but we were still missing few big names too- monty, mulvenna, andy mcg, wrighty, our keeper and big cyril had to go off injured about 30 mins in.
yous will def push for that league esp if like you say you were missing 8 starters! your team on sat was better imo than raceview.
few very good players, john mcf, jamie mcf, barry, your center half, woody.
few nice tackles going in too at times, competitive id say.

lee magill signed on sat ;D our night at the races was held on sat night past, great night had by all, few fininshing up about 4am  raised good amount of cash. next sat we are having a wee golf day which will be good crack. |

great days crack yesterday on our wee golf day, 15 played, some boys blocked by the time we got to the 9th hole ;D then it was on to the olderfleet. some good golf and some bad bad golf played.
trianing mon and wed then season starts for us on sat.

yes thats big dute, he prob wont be over too much, just a few weeks, weekends here and there but a great player when available.
anytime he was over, welly had him starting in the firsts.

have to say the homers are very strong this season! beat us 4-1 and we didnt play badly at all. they are much stronger than last season and will push carniny all the way imo.

beat st comgals today3-2, made hard work of it, missed alot of good chances and should have had game over at half time really but sometimes thats football. new kit ordered and be here in the next 2 weeks  |

well after 8 games in 20 days for us its a well earned rest, no game now untill sat 10th for us, 15 day break.
we are happy with start considering last years, (lost 8 in first 10 games). bit dissapointed with not getting anything from clough game ( maybe a wee draw) and did well to get a draw at keel as we were 3-0 down but again should have went on and won it in the end.
we have played both homers and carniny and imo homers are the stronger, def alot stronger than last year.

new away kit arrived, looks well ( we done that collection of cd/dvds and sent them to musicmagpie) so free kit, badge and all on, happy days! new tracksuits will be ordered next month so well look the part anyway new corner flags getting the badge on them for when we are at home with also a name print for the dugout.will add that bit to our home picth. big tony back training after op so hopefully he will start featuring which is a plus. play larne/larne olympic on tue at inver park ( friendly) then away to wavney on sat in the cup. |

yes we have a few good lads in squad that do alot of hard work. stick being one, he does alot for club and has done for years. though it isnt an easy job running a team! when things are going well it helps though.
moving to the 3g has been a great move tbh
just hope we can do well on the field as well as off it!

we were 5-0 up today then give a soft goal away and took our foot of the gas letting wavney back into it, should of had a pen in the 2nd half too but over all 1st haf was great, 2nd not so great.
another 3 for housty.
get cloughmills at home in the quarter finals.
home next week to all saints in the league.

won 10 - 0 today, think that is a club record on a competitive game.  played well even tough they were really poor, 6-0 up at ht and they went 541 in 2nd half, was so easy it was unreal, we had 3 goals dissallowd (for not alot??) and a pen waved away that was a pen, think the score had a factor so could have been more. they didnt have 1 shot at goal never mind on target ;D had to play this at anntiville and pitch cut up alot so id say it would have been 15-0 if it was on the 3g pitch. back into the league next sat with away trip to michlin. 3 points are a must |
