pre season started on mon 20th. (anyone interested pm me)
mondays- circuit training with karen ;D 8.00-9.15
wed- ball work on pitch , haveron taking it 8.00-9.30
sat- friendlies
everybody has resigned ( except beanie away to ltob), 2 new signings in k.oboyle and adam heggerty, both will be a great addition. also having monty and andy mcgarel from the beginning will be like 2 new signings and both smashing players.
i will be helping out a bit with managing (still playing when required) hope to get another couple of signings yet.
all good in the rovers camp!

Good to hear rovers, no doubt when youse boys got your act together last season youse were as good as anyone on your day!

His work as Development Officer at The Cliff means he couldnt make training at B'mena and keep his job. Ballymena wouldnt release him to sign for another IL club but were happy to let him sign for LTOB. Was always going to sign there with bro-in-law coaching/managing and a lot of mates at the club. |

Tbh he wouldt get in the Ballymena side this season. Certainly not in midfield anyway Pele but maybe at the back he could have played a few games. I think with Carson, Jenkins and Murray in midfield we will have one of the best midfields in the country next season so he wouldnt have got a game there. We still are pretty short in numbers at the back though. Ive probably forgot someone but I thinks theres only Only Denver and Paul Munster (who was poor on saturday) as centre halfs at the minute ( I dont think Chris Rodgers has signed yet and McQuitty hasnt) but even if they both signed they would still need a good experienced centre half in there as well. Haveron could then have fitted in at the back if they struggling. |
