we play raceview next sat so would like to beat them. we were hoping to get mat boyd but not to be, he has said hes giving raceview a season.  half our team has been asked to go to the likes of newington, welly rec, tec, and thankfully we have only lost 1 ( beanie) to tec. |

i dont think he palyed against yous pele, but hes a right back, played few games at center half for us too, very good player.he was captain at moyola at start of season then left and only played 5/6games for us

glenarm 7-2 larne olympic
glenarm 5-3 ltob 2nds

glenarm v whithead
so far so good in preseason, dissapointed in result today though, thought a draw would have been fair, raceview took there chanaces and we didnt,not a great game football wise, cancelled eah other out. dissapointed we didnt threaten more, we seemed a bit flat today.
raceviews good side though for me, homers,carniny and saints would beat them every week. mid table and above in sat morning league me thinks. good couple of players though in mat boyd and rodney paul.
any way last game next sat home to whitehead which will be a good test for us.

no boyd didnt play, on honeymoon but no doubt he would have been a big miss. we were missing few big players ourselves, wrighty, monty, j black, big tony, andy mcgarel, higgsey- all starters if they are available.
goram- i actually thought we were better team though we lacked in the last 3rd, if we had of played till today we still wouldnt have scored!! one of them days. i do think if we played them reg we woluld win more than we would loss.
a decent team, like i said imo mid table or just above in the 1st.
dissapointed we didnt beat them.

yes i was playing and the tipped hair has gone for the moment ;D ;D we were missing 6 players , 8 if u count the 2 forsythes who havent signed for the homers yet , it was our 1st game and ony have been training a few nites so we were pleased with how we did, its not about the results in preseason, its about getting fittness!!

We only had 11 due to alot bein on holiday and away workin or out on the rip lastnite more like but good work out for both teams and considering we had alot of res's playin and missin 8 1st team starters we were happy but to be honset I was suprised with Glenarm,good side with alot of very good players and will cause some teams trouble this season |
