In the clowns defence I will say that the big man is involved in hurling semis and once they are past, it will be training all the way and I don't know what all the talk is about how ken ran the nuts of some players I though it was a very light session,Ken the sadist has told me that he will up it a bit more tonight, but wont get into the real work to next week,the beach run on Saturday will be a fun thing all players are ask to bring a bucket and spade,this is not for sandcastles,mad ken want to move the sand dunes round the corner to waterfoot. Think there many a couple or 3 more quality signings for us before the start of the season, but its keeping every1 happy. Seamus came down before he went to work and gave the lads a good speech so am pretty confident all the lads will work there socks off and be 100% committed. My oh my, the Fishmeister has been working behind the scenes "fishing" for info... I believe I now know of one of these signings and IMO he's still one of the best in the top of the town who has been playing well below his level in the lower leagues of bsml the last few years. I was hoping he might join me out the Woodside Road but from what I'm hearing he is keen on Northend who by all accounts are finally structuring a good club, great to hear!! Bit surprised at the position he's been touted for, as a left back. Never have I seen or heard of him in defence but it might just work....personnally I'd have him in the middle of the park, I still think he's one of the best about!! Just my opinion same as where I think Curly Maybin is better in the middle of the park for Saints than in defence...who am I!! ;D Obviously it's not for me to name this individual but I'm sure the Northend lads are well aware which possible signing I'm on about and I thought I'd give my views!! |

Down at the beach today...1st class training from ken and Shea. Runin in the sea and everything.. Muffin man half way to Scotland at one stage. If we keep that up we will be in some shape come start of da season.  |
