Not very often in saints v Broadway that either side really stands out as they are always very tight. But honestly think Broadway were the much better side especially in the 2nd half. Never taking these glasses off!!!!!!!!!!

must say it was a tremendous advertisment for top of the town soccer today , we at the broadway are extremely proud of the determination and character shown by each player today , we are adamant that we rise to meet the big clubs in div 1 , this is what the saints are , but by gum then we are there with all entitlement and id like to state how proud i am the be a wee hoop today . its what saturdays are made of and it stood by everything i had said before hand in the week building up to the game , that it was gonin to be a thriller and i think anyone watching this match today can proudly agree and say it was a truely fantastic and momentous occassion , i also would like to repeat that i havnt seen goals like that since i retired , congrats to darren burgoyne and gavin burnside on thier brilliant goals , and from here on in we have the faith in ourselves that we are capable of mixing it with anyone . brilliant

thought darren was saints best player first half but couldn`t really get into second Yeah, thought Darren played very well. Glad he's back playing at the top level in the BSML....good player!! Thought big Carlton was good for Saints too. Pele gave them a real test in the middle!!! Also thought Specs worked up and down very hard today and would have probably got himself motm if he could have done better with his final ball....could have had 5 or 6 assists after causing all sorts of problems down the right!!! Agree with everyone, great to watch!!!

Good game today lads. From what I remember the last game was very tight with no real chances but it was a great open game today. In my opinion the difference between the sides today was the threat of Gavin up front. He is always capable of a good early shot, whereas All Saints have to nearly walk the ball into the net. (Bar the 1 in a million strike from DB of course ) Am I right in thinking there were no bookings today? Bound to be a first in the Top of the Town derby!!!

Cat was far too far off his line, but take no credit away from Gavin. Great finish.
