yes its that time of the season when the creme de la creme meet in the top of the town derby , f**k mersyside , f**k manchester , f**k edinburgh and f**k glasgow , its happenin in the showgrounds tomorrow folks , crucial crucial game for both teams but none more than my hearheld hoops , we are in fine fettle selection wise and im really confident that we can do ourselves justice by way of holding our own vs the saints , i have and we have lots of pals and friends on the pitch but f**k me its goin right out through the winda m8s , lets fukin go broadway , lets make the wee hoops the team at the top of the town people fear and talk about , after all 40yrs ago we cleaned up , so our history is rich aswell as bein enough to makle yer heart go wowowowowowo cos we dont care what the all saints say and what the f**k do we care , cos we only know that theres gona be a show and the broadway celtic will be there , cmon the lads . lets be havin ye for the shermourinhio, cmon .

All Saints 1-1 Broadway Celtic
Im sure this was a cracker to watch some rough, hard, fair tackles and i thought waa let the game flow as best he could.
The game started at a fast pace and from a corner the ball got knocked out to Darren Burgonye and he hit an unstoppable shot into the top corner from 25 yards.
We battled away and played some nice stuff at times and then Gavin Burnside scored a wonder goal where he chipped Brian Martin from about 40 yards.
Tbh second half i think we shaded with chances, specs hit the post....Donald had a great chance and then Gavin again got robbed with what would of been as good as goal as i ever seen when the ball hit the underside of the bar and bounced on the line.
After our bad result last week i was delighted to see the character and heart that we all showed today.

I'll echo that by saying two great teams on display and a good fair game to go with it!!
I do think second half Broadway were the better team and should have had a couple, Gavin very unlucky with an awesome effort coming out of the sky over his shoulder first time, first class. in saying that I felt Saints were very good on the counter and if not for Sean Ward's awareness off his line a couple of times late on Saints would have went on to win themselves.
Fair play to all involved, great heart, great passion.

Disagree about the counter Fish... Saints did break well at times but they lacked up front today imo and moves constantly broke down when it hit up top.

No that's what I mean, when they broke they broke well and got the ball into the flanks but on a few occasions late on (I think it was) big bear couldn't get to the final ball. I meant the few counter attacks towards the end were Sean had to get there quick, they were good counters, I just worded that wrong. |

Yeah saints really never had any decent chances apart from darrens strike(which was awesome although overshadowed by the goal at the other end) Think the saints would even agree that Broadway were by far the better side overall and should have won the game but for the width of the post and cross bar. Cracking game best derby i seen in a long time, credit to both players. Well done!

dont think anyone at saints would agree broadway were by far the better side..
good match to watch for sure, we got lucky today with specs and gavin so unlucky with their strikes..
i felt last 20 we had some great oppertunities, to open youse up, but the final ball just wasnt there on 3/4 occasions..just lacked the quality.
im sure broadway feel they deserve the 3, i think we deserved the point.

yeah would agree with lenny today, think we deserved the point today, however had broadway nicked it, we wouldnt have had any arguments, those two efforts that hit the post and crossbar were superb. The two goals were absolute screamers, there isnt a keeper alive that would have got to either of them. We'll happily take the point and move on to Tuesday night.

Ha ha think snowman wearing his green glasses still.... Tbh at times Saints played some lovely stuff that cut us open and the first half was very tight.
I just feel that we looked like the side that was gonna score in the second and agree youse did have chances late on but as you say the ball never got there.
