Broadway Celtic 0-1 All Saints I think we definatly deserved at least a point today but was't to be. We played some stuff at times too alot of positives to take away but very dissapointted. And yes i scored the OG Give me a day at least before the slagging starts |

hard one to swallow,i don`t think the saints had a shot on target the whole game(i may be wrong),thought we played some great footy at times and mixed it up too when we had to.but i rather be in saints poisition now well done good luck for the season  |

Very few chances for both teams, the best prob falling to Gavin and one for Specs in first half.
But it was a tough derby game with the majority of the game round the middle third.
Another great 3 points for the Old Boys

Another great 3 points for the Old Boys Pretty fair assessment thorny - I think we lacked that extra bit of quality in the final third as we got ourselves in great postions for it to be broke down each time. Very tough game as most of our boys have the bruises and pains to show for it, I know i do anyway. |

great three points for us this morning, was definitely a game i was worried about!!
first half hour we wernt at the game and on another day we could have been 2 down with specs heading wide and then cat making an unreal save from gavin, after that thought we came into the game more and forced use back and then the "nod home" at the back post from pele settled us!!
second half use threw everything at us but thought we defended well and looked dangerous on the break and cant remember either keeper having a save to make in the second half!!
as i said great three points for us and we showed today the strength in our squad with players like chick, smiley stevie morgan etc all missing and we still came away with the three points!!

Brian Martins save was unbelievable - Def thought it was in On another note thought big bucky was outstanding today again, has been a revelation since i moved him back in there We just gotta get ourselves up for next weeks derby against Northend now. |

i thought it was a scrappy enough aul game, we started very poorly AGAIN..touch was off, passing was woeful, but i thought we competed well enough to stay in the game.
Brian martin made a few great saves from burnside, im sure hes disappointed not to take any of his chances.
we got the goal a good cross in, met by a bullet header from PELE!! Il call round later with the form??
dunno what it it about us, but we seem to enjoy defending goal leads..sat very deep and soaked up alot of pressure..had 1 or 2 wee chances on the break, but the final ball was poor.
thats as tough a game we have had id say..and prob the best broadway side ive played against..
all the best lads.
