making love to clayton blackmore was one of the worst things about being an apprentice at utd. not the real clayton blackmore, obviously. he was sat in the dressing room pissing himself with laughter like the rest of the first teamers. no this was a lifesize picture of our pin up defender which would be stuck on to the treatment table by a senior player with a vicious sense of humour. as barry white music played , i or whichever unlucky apprentice had been choosen, would have to dance around the table and pretend to get off with the wales right back. i cant tell you how excruciating that is for a sixteen year old in front of an audience of his heroes like mark hughes and bryan robson. gary nev on being an apprentice at utd ;D ;D

STAN COLLYMORE'S BOOK IS A BRILL.real eye opener into the more private bits of football and what you would do with that pay packet end of the week.he gets deep.heres some scope as in to what its like Stan Collymore had the ability to be one of England's greatest footballers. But he retired from the game at the age of 29. This book explains why. It's one of the best football biographies of all time - searingly honest, at times very sad, at times it leaves you shaking your head in despair. It's dominated by one person - Ulrike Jonsson. It was she who Collymore hit in a Parisian bar during the 1998 World Cup. She was the love of his life and became the spark which lit the fuse of his downfall. It's not a pretty book, but it depicts the life of a modern day professional footballer without any of the rose tinted glasses usually found in the genre of football autobiography. If Collymore hates a fellow player he tells you. Gareth Southgate is one such example. He goes into graphic detail about his 'dogging' obsession and admits ot being a sexaholic. This is not a comfortable book to read. But if you want to understand a bit more about depression in people who seemingly have it all, it's un-put-downable. Well it kept me entertained in amongst my sniffs and snivels yesterday!

Think I read before was that him and shearer weren't pals at all despite the SAS partnership.

He admits to having a dry wit and some people did't get him but he was a wind up merchant ;D His book is really well written to and at the end of each chapter players or managers comment on what they thought at that time with Sutton. He said in his book he felt Shearer never warmed to him because him and Mike Newell were big friends and Sutton took his place. I have a couple who are looking a lend but i could throw to you if you would like a lend down the line.

Any1 read that fella from ahoghill's new book 'Campos- walking in the shadows' very sad reading but extremely difficult to understand. 1 extract from the book I found both saddening and baffling.
"It was the christmas morning of 95' and as me and mine bbrothers were opning our presents me look aross the room to see doik(my bother) unwrapping a brand new pair of predators whilst I had to make did with a 2nd hand tennis racket, althout I didn't resent my pearants for showing greater looove to my siblings I was alttle sad. If tooth be told I knew I was the ugly duckling of the tennant hoosehold........ I'd advise any1 to go out and buy this if your after a tear jerker but be warned as my extract shows its a riddled with spelling mistakes etc. To say I cried a little is a understatment that's a facted

Reading "Scally" at the minute. Its an autobiography of one of the main lads in the firm at everton. Nutcases the lot of them. Got that kindle app for iphone & the wife got me an amazon voucher for valentines day. Quality for the train to work. About 15 quid left on my voucher so might have a look into collymores book though cant stand the b*****d.

Recently read Dwight Yorkes book, cracking read and some interesting tales - as you can imagine the Cnut done some riding ;D Few funny keano stories, my fav being..... Yorke was in oz playing and when Keane got the Sunderland job he rang yorke and pleaded with to sign, eventually he did. The first season went great, promotion to the prem but the second he was in and out of the team and ended up falling out with Keane. Keane barely broke breath to him but when he got sacked yorke thought he would send him a long text, thanking him and wishing him well ect, ten minutes later he got a reply "go f**k yourself" Read lee sharpes as well, another decent read.
