Weve got a few boys who would be prone to going on the drink and disappearing for 3 or 4 days, theres no playing hungover there, turfcutter and big barry et al will let you know all about that thankfully i get all my drinking rid up during the week ;D on that note, i've always been a massive fan of that greatest of cliches 'he plays better when he's drunk/hungover ;D |

Agree there supersub, our big match has always been blackstone and in recent years we've edged them however they got promoted last year and we didn't. Possibly most gutting thing yet for us. The Dunloy rivalry has been a welcome one this year. The game in dunloy was well hyped up and was probably one of the most satisfying wins in our club's history. Few outside the club would have backed us to win down there. A meeting in the sammy moore a some stage would be fantastic, if it was the final even better but we'll not count our chickens.

We got Randalstown Reds, Turf. We still have to play them in the league and I think they ran you's close recently so not a given at all. Especially now they've got the Jon Parkin of the BSML running about up-front scoring goals for fun. Rumour has it he's on a diet though!! ;D is that in rainey cup??! looking forward to it, where it at?? i may be the john parkin, not sure bout the running about bit tho!!! |

Westend have been known to cock up in the sammy moore in recent years. Hopefully not this year although Althletico Antrim gave us some game a Wakehurst. We stole that one. |

i c all this chat about dunloy v westend is gettin a bit outa hand...lets just wait and c wat happens in the run in...well i cant c them throwin away the league but as 4 the sammy moore i have no doubt that a dunloy v westned final wud b a great final and as a dunloy player there wud b only 1 winner..2 seasons ago wen i played 4 north end in the 2nd div ballykeel beat north end twice in the league 1.0 at dunvane then 5.1 in ballykeel then we met them in the 2nd div playoff final and comfortable beat them 2 get promoted...my point 2 this is that in morning footie past results dont count 4 much...roll on the final 2 we get another crack at them westend w****rs..

You guys have had your chance to play a full strength Westend team twice, the cup is a chance for squad players to come in and show their worth, that is the way it has been used at Westend so far this season, I am not sure you'll get another crack at a full strength Westend mate
