this weasel v drummond affair is something to look forward too  The boys from Westend that have been there from the start are pretty quiet on here (with the exception of squiggs maybe) I know when I was acting an ejit on here I felt like I was letting the guys down as I thought it wasnt the type of thing they would do themselves, I understand what you are saying Stan. On the other hand, Teflon likes the craic, he enjoys a good wind up and being Glaswegian loves the old 'Get That Right Up Ye Bawjaws' so I understand where he comes from too. As for being up his hole you should come watch a game of ours, you'd definately not say I am up his hole But credit where credit is due, I think he is a great player, he has his flaws but is still one of the best in the division |

I know very little about the third but i'd like to see a player in the division thats better than Aaron Wilkinson or Smiley both of them really should be playing in the first. Smiley is a machine when it comes to scoring goals i'd like to bet if he had of started for Dunloy he'd have scored 50 goals this season. I can honestly say that I was impressed with Smiley when we played them, strong and holds the ball up well. On another day he could easily have had a hat-trick. I Thought Squiggs and Arnie were magnificent against him that day though. Wilkinson is a good player, but I think he hasn't got any better than he was a few years ago, keep him on the wrong foot and you will have an easier time of it. In my opinion, Mark Watson is the best player in the division. There are much bigger clubs looking for him (not Penarol though) but he hasn't been lured away just yet. |

Yeah Wilkinson is a decent player, not to seem ignorant but who is Mark Watson Teflon and who does he play for? Not sure if iv came across him this season, I also maintain if wee rev had stayed with us for a full season he wouldve won the top goalscorer gong with a bit to spare.

Ahh yes, remember him now, yeah hes a solid player, havnt honestly seen enough of him to say if hes the best, but then that goes for everyone. Centre Mid prob hardest position to play in soccer in my opinion.

You might not have noticed but it isn't any of the players who have been at the club for the last 7 years that are appearing more confident - we know only too well how we can cock things up! Have to agree. 2 seasons ago we were sitting 4th with all our games played looking like we were making the playoffs. Then after everyone else has played their matches we were sitting 7th on goal difference BY 1 GOAL. Too say we were shocked is an understatement! But if anything, it taught us not to get ahead of ourselves. The boys from Westend that have been there from the start are pretty quiet on here... Personally I don’t see the point of coming on the forum slagging off other teams/players. It only makes the other teams raise their game against us, which although we can cope with, we don’t need. Westend have had nothing to crow about since the club was formed (think the best we’ve ever achieved was the last 8 of the Junior Shield in our first season) so us longer serving members are just keeping a low profile. The whole Dunloy / Westend rivalary is all a bit of craic and its good to see both teams really giving it a go this season to see who comes out top dog. And I don’t think we’d be anywhere near top of the league if it wasn’t for Scotty, Rab, And Mark as all three signings have been brilliant for us this season! However, Westends main rivals have been, and always will be, BLACKSTONE. Few years ago on the forum it really kicked off between both clubs. Dunloy are just filling in till we meet them next season in the 2nd (hopefully lol) ;D |

Yep i know what your saying wardrobe, with somewhere like centre mid, sometimes the less you do, the more you actually do, alot of players make the mistake of thinking the more running you do the better, soccer pitches are too small for that kind of game, also have to agree with you supersub14, the rivalries are a bit of craic, but if we both get promoted dont be dumping us for your old mistress, were a younger, hotter model ;D we wont be the easily got rid of...  |

its all good banter....at times ;D just hope to get the chance to play westend in the cup and give a better account of ourselves. they were the hardest 2 games of the season so far for us. i wasnt overly impressed with aron wilkinson the 2 times we played him. marked him both times and he did f**k all to amaze me. who did westend get in the rainey cup???

We got Randalstown Reds, Turf.
We still have to play them in the league and I think they ran you's close recently so not a given at all. Especially now they've got the Jon Parkin of the BSML running about up-front scoring goals for fun. Rumour has it he's on a diet though!! ;D

Just you make sure you're fully fit when we play each other this time, thought you let yourself down last time.
