I heard tonight the Glebe Rangers manager got the boot and dobbie is fav to replace him.
I dont think he'd ever leave carniny but if he does it could ruin carniny as im sure he'd take half the team way him.

Glebe are no better than Carniny and silly as it may sound, Carniny probably have the better set up..
Dobbie best staying put at Carniny and moving them up to the afternoon league

Massive step up if ya ask me..

Going by the league table .......not for long well thats neither here nor there.. How not? Currently Dobbie is sitting pretty with a club guaranteed trophies year after year in the morning league, enhancing his reputation as a good manager locally. Why give that up to move to a team who are clearly struggling in their division and if what i've been told is true by people involved with glebe, a club where moral is thru the floor.

IMO, moving from manager of Carniny Rangers in Div 1 of the BSML to Glebe Rangers, who play in the 2nd highest tier possible in local football is a step up. Maybe depends what yer after, there wont be much silverware at glebe. As for glebe, your 100% right..thats why their previous manager left.

totally agree with lenny that managing at glebe would be a much higher job/standard, they may be struggling on the field , but there a championship club playing big games every week.. as for dobbie going cant see it happening , thinks he's a carniny man threw and threw, and im not even sure does he drive??
also cant see carniny going to afternoon football , they may have the players but not the facilites, like changing rooms beside pitch, fenced off, etc, that are required to get into intermediate leagues.

Going to Glebe would be a massive step up regardless of their league position, cant see how anyone could argue that point.

I mind when we played against Glebe in the good old days when mighty Demense were in the Intermediate league, after we had been beat our usual 6 or 7 nil, it was a scorching day, so a few of the Glebe lads took their tops off walking off pitch when we were shaking hands and I swear to f**k at least 4 of them had UDA tattoo's on their chest. I thought it was a wee bit reilly. I thought they were maybe American exchange students who had went to a dyslexic tattoo artist, but I soon found out they werent from the USA.
A Ballymoney player told me Coagh Utd have the same policy.
