Great turn-out tonight lads with 16 comming to training. What a turn around from last season when we struggled to get 8-9 but this seaon its always around the 12 mark.
Real competition for places now and with 2 new signings this weekend we have a very very strong squad.
The competition for places has certainly got a few of the lads in shape as they know that if they want a game on a sat morning they have to put the effort in.
The club as a whole is comming along nicely and the core is working brilliantly and things will only get better.
Great effort lads and thanks for making my job on a saturday morning very difficult and I mean that.

Also, I hate to say it but, although Towers have improved since he left, it would seem that perhaps the Weasal was a very popular member of the coaching staff at Towers as a lot of his players from his tenure there have followed him to the Swifts either straight away or over a few months, eventually they follow!! Maybe should've shown more gratitude for his works at the club and players wouldn't be leaving with him!!  |

i haven't heard anyone leaving the towers for any team, but have heard a few rumours of boys saying to the gaff they could make a difference if they came back to the towers |

Unretired we currently have Jogn Graham, Mark Graham, Sean Norris, Barry Mcardle, Ryan Oneill, Kirk Greene, Justin Kerr all of whom have played for the towers at some stage and then myself who played for the towers years ago in the Greg Finton and Balmer era.

Another good turn out tonight lads and the introduction of the dreaded bleep test to training certainly did the trick. Good stuff lads and well done and few days to focus on this weekends game against Dunloy.

Big man just doing my civic duty to the lads of the Rovers, we had a few missing last night because of injury and we had room for a few more so 6 rovers lads got a beastin...along with a couple of Towers lads...
