What way are the pitches at the Waveney holding up with the rain?
Surely they should be ok as they haven't been played on??

Saturday 5th September Broadway Celtic v Braid Utd, Off. Waterlogged pitch fish?? If showgrounds pitch waterlogged so will wakehurst be that's the reason i ask we due to play towers at Wakehurst! To the best of my knowledge Braid requested it called off because they had numbers travelling to Poland. As far as I'm aware, that's the reason. Can't see the council calling the weekend fixtures off before Friday lunchtime.

The weather has been crap over the summer. I can see a lot more games being called off up until the usual "called off" period near Winter. This will only mean a really bad fixture back log towards the end of the season.

What do you think? They invoked some rule 36 in the league rules which gives them an appeal if they put the request in writing so many days before the fixture. What's the point in us protesting it, cos we know what the result will end up being. Something has to be done about the situation very quickly. Moylena have been really struggling for a team this season (especially against Northend funny enough) but we do everything possible to fulfil our fixtures. Having said that, Abbeyview were kind enough to call off our game this season. As a one off that is fair enough, but to do it over an over again is wrong. Put it this way, it seems to me that because they are being allowed this flexibility, they are picking and choosing which games to play as to maximise their league position.
