Cheers bap ;D Hes Englands future number 9......probably.....so they say  Big lad who scored 20 odd goals for Burnley last season and missed a good part of the season as well. He'll be decent back up to Sharp, Lambert and Hooper. Rumours of another potential signing which will interest a few forum members too |

Couldn't be Steven Davis...... he would have phoned Modo to let him know first Stevie obviously doesn't trust him anymore, maybe fell out with him after he signed for the rovers ;D anyway heard a few weeks back there was a brave chance Davis could be signing and heard its in the papers today's too, so hoping it's true, would be a good move for both saints and Stevie. |

Sorry jonny, for years I've took abuse about supportin them, especially when in league 1 and being 2 hours from folding, so going to make the most of supporting a premier league team again even if it's berating other teams ( for at least a season ;D ) I think Stevie is a superb footballer jonny, but I just dont think he's at that level of starting for teams such as Liverpool, spurs, etc. I think saints would be a great club for him, good wee family club who try to play proper football. Said it before a few times as well, were the 7th richest club in Britain too so there's money there as well. On the season, first season your always aiming to avoid relegation, but I'm quietly confident we can make the impact Swansea and Norwich made, we'll surprise a few teams for sure. |

6 million bid for Jake Butland (the young lad who went to euro 2012 as England's 3rd choice) rejected by birmingham. If we don't go back with another bid think we'll go for either Craig Gordon or Paul Robinson.

I'm sure Quasimodo knows all the inside info about it I can't see Davis going that far south he has told friends and family he wants to go back to Villa but its now Lambert's call.If not he wants to be in the Midlands area.Like i say its his second home with friends house etc all there.Unless you can pay ott wages but then would that move really be what he wants ;)Could still happen but far from his choice of club |

Lambert didnt want him think we are signing some rennes playmaker instead bit disapointed is an understatement.Disgrace when free.Liverpool fans told Rodgers he wasnt good enough.West Brom didnt bid just FC Sion so i am told :-) but i would have loved him back.He will deffo do a job down there.Long drive home from training everyday though ;-)
