Steroid head haha someone's a little jealous...so ur big CB shouldn't have walked for kickin him in the face on the ground before it.... In my opinion that was worse...but the whole match was a good battle, hard and legal (just barely) lol. Just seen the second half of this game ...
Wasn't much great football played but thought Northend's hunger won them the game. They played like a team who were fighting for the league, and got the result.
Thistle had the chances at 2-1 but couldn't convert, largely due to some great last ditch defending by Northend. Particularly a great tackle by Bear and goal line header by Muffin Man.
IMO Donald was the best player on the pitch, put in a great shift.

lads i missed the game .was on for a windup to get both teams putting stuff up last night.didnt work lol.northend seemed to get a good win.heard clown in a tackle on the ground threw a dodgy elbow or sumfin.wee danny is alright(can handle himself)so i would cut the long runs the fox stuff out,u act nasty to wrong person you get a clip.let it go he would batter you so would be a silly move .heard a mob hang about waiting on danny after 6/7folk.stupid.case of two teams worked up for the title and bit of hatred threw in always gonna be sumfin.makes an interesting run in now were any1 can win it.loved to see you's meet in a cup final cos i say it would pull in a crowd and going by goalline clearences etc it musta been tight enough.deffo up to who wants that cup the most now dudes :-)

Anyway onto the game, thistle thought they would turn up and bully us, well my friend youse were very mistaken, Donald set the tone of the game in the 1st 20secs when he booted McBurney off the ball and from that every single Northend player got stuck right in and showed no fear. We deserved it today and any1 watching wouldnt argue, few thistle bhoys showed no henry halls the day. Was a great battle but by fook am sore the night. but it was well worth it |

After re-evaluating yesterday's performance i have to say we totally deserved to win, was a great battle from start to finish! It's not a surprise when to good sides meet that theres a real lack of football but passion an committment take over! Would love to meet thistle in the cup final for another epic battle! As for your man browner he has good future in front of him but his off the ball antic will hold him back unless he cuts that part of his game out! The run in may throw out a few twist yet!

Watched this game yesterday. Before anything is said, NE deserved their win as i felt they wanted it more than the thistle team. Iv watched both sides a few times this year and i was sure thistle would have got something from the game. But fair to dues to NE they showed great heart and battle. Number 3 for NE was brilliant in the middle of the park ad easily MOTM. From thistle i expected more, iv seen them a few times this year and thought some of their better players never showed up. 2 centre halfs were weak conceding two easy goals. Thistle strikers who scored 6 between them the last i seen didnt look interested. Thought they were always a threat down the left with the 2 brothers but either side couldnt get the wide men into play. I think NE will push onto to win the league as they showed great heart and passion yesterday. Going to be very tight!

better team won by a long shot. good game with plenty of heavy tackles....being deemed as ''hard as nails'' doesnt make it ok to thump a player off the ball. gutless if anything. centre halfs kept the strikers very quiet... gud job clown..... y was baldy a sub??? who hit who of the ball chris ........ daniel brown baldy was on two game ban .... 1st game back . yep the very bhoy.... my eye sight aint that bad yet |
