Surely the final could be moved a week either side of original date to compensate for the show at the showgrounds, would be a shame if it wasn't I'm ballymena so if not the showgrounds it has to be the Phoenix IMO

Phoenix is handy, good pitch in may and lovely changing rooms..decent call.

Final is on 2nd may think this is the final ye whole league has wanted!! Great for both clubs and the BSML in general!!
As regards venue the co Antrim have asked the BSML to try and get the Showgrounds which they will do and will do everything in their power to make sure it's at the Showgrounds!! As far as I am aware the Showgrounds main arena is open to 8th may so fingers crossed the final can be played there!!
Well done once again to both homers and Carniny deserved winners in both semi finals!!

Should a big final like that be played on 3g? If its good enough for the crues and chickenville to play on at home then it's good enough for everyone else. |

For a one of game it will be perfect IMO.
Though obviously if the showgrounds is available thats a given.

Im a traditionalist. Have heard a lot of complaints about 3g You should join the TUV  The glens haven't much luck on them 3G pitches, think we have won 1 game since they started ffs. Anyway showgrounds is perfect, will there be home and away segregation lol |

I can't understand for the life of me why people are trying to force the show grounds when these venues are available.  |

Im a traditionalist. Have heard a lot of complaints about 3g Alot of physios reckon the 3G/4G pitches cause alot more joint injuries than a grass pitch. I know Gordy McCartney is hoping that the main pitch at the showgrounds isn't changed into a 4g pitch. |

Absolutely hate 3gs and imo Irish league clubs should all have grass pitches.
Yes i know it's gives them more income through renting it but the footballs just not the same.
Showgrounds should be the only option for this final
