Home to keel for the second time in a matter of weeks. As always it will be a battle. Cup game so the pressure is off.
Word on the street is we have been challenged to a two legged pool and darts tournament afterwards, trophy at stake for the winners. Should be a good day out. You allowed out for more than 20 mins this week boydy ;D

Abbeyview 1-3 Keel
Not good enough today again. Shocking conditions ruined the first half. Settled a bit in the second but we never got going. Shocking red card for dissent at 1-1i turned the game in the keels favour to their credit they capitalized on it.
Back to the drawing board for us. Massive game next week against unbelievably ballykeel lol

Mostly used for kids football, antrim rovers. Abbeyview used to play there years ago before my time. It's a very heavy pitch from what I remember. But you are right it would be ideal for a final.

I have said for years that Chimney Corner should use that pitch, could get a lot more supporters down it wouldnt come close to passing the requirements for irish league?? There's a fence all around the running track to keep supporters away, .....get seating on the opposite hill, a few dugouts on 1 side and its sorted...potentially a quality wee ground for somebody....and it has floodlights When you see the crowds some weeks who go to see BSML at the forum, there is definite interest in football in the town, the problem is Chimney Corner are too far out, and nobody has a clue down there

Bad result yesterday, though with it being a cup game it could be the spark needed for the league game next week as jeff has stated. Think Roy had a shocker, didnt turn up at all today. The midfield was poor also, werent tight enough and the centre half cromie wasnt really at it either. Big loss in having jackie sent off, but boys should know what sandy is like, he hasnt changed in years and never will. Think next weeks game will be totally different as it is a league game and from what im reading a few players will be back or transferred. Still think that certain players should be playing in different positions, as it strengthens the side.
