Any truth in a name change could be on the cards due to numerous misgiving's from ex thistle men and ahoghill residents in general over the treatment of young aspiring footballers from the village, with them being pushed to the side in favour of outsiders from all over borough and beyond. Also the values of our great wee league being undermined by 'the special 1' (in more ways special than 1 also) by handing out small cash backhanders to certain players, but in saying that with boys like wee 5er tennant/campos/bonkers who are simply there for that flim a week it cushions the blow a little...... THE PEOPLES CLUB MY BALLOCKS and as bap says I'm just saying like.......

I myself find it very refreshing kicking ball with a squad of lads I grew up with and have been m8s with for as long as I can remember but if pulling players from all corners of the borough for personal gain is your thing then blast away but remember WE HAVEN'T GONE AWAY U KNOW
