An unwanted break from league duty just when we looked like putting a few results together. Nevertheless a tough game against a good side in ballykeel. With the squad looking a bit healthier it would be nice to get a good run in one of these cup competitions. Mon the view  |

Glad to get through today missed a few from last week. Played well first half and led 3 nil at half time with goals from Jackie, Essex and big gSIM from norn iron on his first start.
Ballykeel came back at us in the second as we would expect but although we weren't at our best we done enough.
Moylena in the next round I believe ?

watched a good game today, abbeyview holding on in the last 10 minutes for a 3-2 win. Comfortable 1st half saw them go 3 up, though i cant see how the penalty was given as it looked a good tackle. Bad keeping was to blame for ballykeels 2 goals, though with a dodgy defence keith cant be held accountable. Think abbeyview need to sign a decent centre half to play beside victor, as this would install more confidence in other players. Smith isnt a defender and with him there the defence looks suspect. Too many long balls in the 2nd half lost abbeyview their shape. All in all a win is what was needed, and with players out it was a good result

Think I should of saved the free kick goodgame tbf. Big cromie has started well at centre half but was injured today. Smithy does well when asked to play in their but we lose his energy in midfield. Not sure were zola will play I'd like to see him up front but he could well play at centre back were he usually played for us.
