Anyone been watching these??
The 2 escobars, class.
Then there was one with the 2 big basketball players who were best pals one day ememies the next because war broke out in the old yugoslavia.
Another one about 'the best that never was' Marcus Dupree.Young American footballer who to this day the scouts/recruiters say was the best talent they have ever seen, who got completely shafted.
16TH man, about when South Africa won the rugby world cup, when Mandela(what a man) brought the country together.
Im in the middle of watching one about the baddest college american football team ever, Miami Hurricanes..brilliant.

Must have watched at least 10 of them Lenny, all superb.
The one on the running back Dupree was brilliant, 20 years on people still going up to him asking him what he's doing driving lorries as they thought he'd be a multi millionaire by now, reckon as a teenager he was he most naturally talented athlete they ever produced but only ended up playing 15 odd games in the NFL, was it not his reverend/minister who ended up screwing him over?
The 2 basketballers one was pretty sad in the end, f**king politics as usual!

The 2 basketballers one was pretty sad in the end, f**king politics as usual! aye his pastor stroked him...ba$tard!! did u watch the one about the Miami Hurricanes?? hallions!! ;D yes mate seen it ,they didnt give a f**k about their reputation either! Americans are mad about their collage/youth sports, completely obsessive. Watched another one about a wee pee wee American softball team (think they were only similar to a village team) Think they were only about 12/13 and were a good wee team in general but had this pitcher who was unreal, helped by being bigger and stronger than anyone else his age. Anyway they ended up beating all these big named teams and then winning the world cup of their sport, a proper American underdog goes on to win story. By the time they got to the final their story was on the front page of every US paper and their final was shown on live TV. Ended up all the press was aimed at this star pitcher, TV cameras kept trying to interview him and ran stories about him building him up to becoming one of the best baseball players ever, etc, forgetting this lad was only a kid. They got a massive parade through the town when they won the cup too, heroes and all! It ended up at every game after though, other kids parents were constantly shouting personal abuse at him about being fat and overrated. Wee lad then just fell short of having a nervous breakdown and stopped playing the game at that age cause he couldnt handle the pressure on him! ( Ive just saved you 2 hours watching it now ;D ;D ) The one about Allan Iverson is also very good, near caused his hometown to split in two over a racist attack he was part of. Hes a pretty f**ked up character too to be fair!

They have extended it now though with a few others a year.

Reminds me a lot of our own country. A lot of good mates fall out over religious/political crap. Of what i've saw so far it just edges out "Catching Hell" for me as the best but I'm a Cubs fan so probably biased.
