He was uglier than Neil Lennon :-).Some achievement and fair play to Queen of the South but a cup i would hardly jump up and sing about.Getting up and perhaps being the lowest club in Scottish history to win the Scottish cup is main priority.My dad tried to get me a Utd fan.Look what happened cos he never took me ..Years later we did go together to see them but i made up me own mind by then and watched Utd v Villa with him at Windsor pk.Not amused when we equalised.Nearly got him a digging to by the thousands as i screamed when you could here a pin drop.Fek thast must be easy 20 odd years ago :-)

So you chose your team the year Villa ran United close but hadnt the balls for the fight in the run-in? Unlucky. If you'd waited one more year to choose you might have been a Blackburn fan. |

No i was a fan from 1990.Yep 33years a Villian .Big Dublin scored for Utd that night think it was Dwight yorke for us,funny how they swapped clubs.Yes prob 1 of our better yrs we came 2nd.Signed half of Liverpool and had Dailian Atkinson (better goals than Yeboah)and Tony Daley and Dean Saunders runnings defenses all over the place that year.Well like Blackburn and Chelsea now City our at it the bandwagon brigade come out in force just watch the young lad doesnt watch motd on his own or like my dad with me it could all end in tears if he isnt easy lead :-) |

i was at that game too actually. was it big dublin hit one & it hit off both posts & out? i preferred the one a few years later when united played an international select & big phil masinga near ripped the net.

Its been tough explaining to the kid how we now hate Tevez cos he watches the Champions League winning DVD constantly. Rooney. Ronaldo and Tevez ran wild that season. Hard to sound reasonable when teaching a 5 year old that Ronaldo's still brilliant but Tevez is now a kettle-neck wee cnut! Glad he was too young to know that Michael Owen turned from 'that hateful wee Scouse bastert' into our Number 7. |
