Booked my ticket tonight for the week...61 quid, that gets you full excess for the four days plus practice and pro am on the wed. Day pass is 25 pound a day. Can't wait, its 3 weeks before the British open so hopefully all the big guns will be there practicing for the major.

Mate in work has one of those big caravans right beside the course. He is a massive golf fan but is severely tempted to rent it out that weekend

It is the same weekend as the AT&T National at Congressional that Tiger Woods hosts so I wouldn't expect too many of the big American names there. Still should be good as never been to a tournament before. Anyone know if you are allowed to pint out round the course?

Tickets sales going well for this I hear. Just hope they get half decent weather as I think that will be in difference in it being a success or not.
Seperate issue - any golfers on here know good places to buy balls? I'm guessing online is usually best?

Ant specific balls in mind ...mate of mine has a another mate who owns a few fields beside Edenmore.....his wee lad gathers up the OB's and sells them.....
