In all honesty, I cant see this one being on Jeff.
I would assume the GGS arena is like the river thames.

Ok mate keep me informed. Never realised that was a council pitch i thought yous owned it. That makes it even more disgraceful that you have had to play on it all these years. Glad you finally are getting facilities sorted.

Still can't believe that game was played today but glad it was now, big performance from Clough and glad to get the 3 points.

Suprised the council didn't call it off yesterday, and i thought Scratch woulda called it off too.
He seemed to want to play it though..

I thought the ref woulda called it off tbh it was a mess only by luck someone didn't get hurt. Having driven up we wer happy to give it a go but after about 20 mins we asked for it to be abandoned as it was clearly unplayable. Having said that it was the same for both sides and credit to both for at least tryin to play football on it.
At one stage I thought my career was over when it looked like hartson might score. I would have had to retire no doubt about it. Thankfully he got a nosebleed n tripped over the ball ;D

Not only did you foul me on the way round you, I was completely wiped out as I went to put it in the empty net!!  Pitch was absolutely shocking. Can't believe it went ahead but, as Jonny says glad it did. |

Horrendous game played on a horrendous pitch. Can't see us playin there for quite a while now but the 3 points is the main thing after a few bad results recently.
Even tho the pitch didn't suit my nice, tidy passing game, i adapted to the conditions and still walked off the pitch as the stand out performer ;D
