Ha ha ha, would the 32k do him a couple of months Looks a great camp tbf but in all honesty he is not the most gifted boxer so its gonna be difficult. O'Kane will be favourite but Sugar could certainly do well. In the last one he drew Martin Murray(eventual winner) who two years later went and fought Felix Strum for a world title so a little luck with the draw and ye never know. #teamrea |

Great to see Paddy Barnes qualifying for London 2012 Hopefully afew more Irish lads can join him over the nxt few days. Big Tommy McCarthy won as 3 which leaves 3 irish boxers in the semi-finals Adam Nolan being the other. Adam Nolan won his fight the day to get the chance to fight at London games He now joins Michael Conlan, Paddy Barnes and Darren O'Neill on Team Eire.With Hopefully Tommy McCarthy to join the them, bt he needs to win Gold at the box offs. With the amount of money the amatuers are getting nowadays I still think joe ward will bide his time and stay on to at least 2016. But I fancy wee conlan to bring back the big 1 to belfast best irish medal hope in my eyes, wee man just keeps getting better The high performance boxers guys r on good doe. I hope ur right about Ward. I think its set up great for the pro ranks. I think Barnes and Nevins experience of being at the games cud have a massive factor in them hopefully getting medals. I no Conlan thro Ganger and club shows, he's sound fella an i wud love to see him do well after a poor Commonwealth games. The wee man does some serious extra trainining with John Breen who coaches his bro Jamie and Paul McCloskey. |
