Well done to all the players and management of Glencloy Swifts for staying up in their first ever season in Division 1. Despite losing a lot of players towards the end of the season and suffering some heavy losses towards the end, the Swifts finished off with a respectable 3-2 victory over FC Enkalon to add to the points accumulated in the first half of the season. Next season will be just as difficult unless "90" can add to their small pool of players. Their performances this season have confirmed the Swifts position as the league's top team from east Antrim - a mini achievement in itself.
