Some of my closest mates have IMO a problem with gambling. I'm glad I never got into it as I can see how addictive it can be.
I've no doubt if we had the money people like John have/had we'd be blowing ridiculous amounts ourselves!!

Fair play for him coming out and trying to get help with it.I actually have alot of time for big hartson, not only with the massive fight he's had for the past couple years, but think throughout his career he's the sort of lad who's always had to work hard to get to the top. As well as not being the most naturally gifted players in the world, he also really struggled keeping his weight under control and from somebody who also is maybe carrying a pound/ stone extra luggage, I'm sure it was tough work having to work twice as hard as any of his wee skinny c**ts of team mates who couldn't put on weight if they tried! Fair play to him.

seen on SSN yesterday Ipswich striker Michael Chopra has now came out about his gambling addiction. Reckons he's lost between £1,500,000 and £2,000,000 from it. Maddest thing about it was he was saying he was in so much debt he has to declare himself as fit when he was nowhere near it just so he could get apparearance money! Usual tale of having too much time on his hands after training, he says most others would hit the golf course and he would hit the bookies,
