Homers deserved there lead at half time after a flap from the Carniny keeper but second half their was only ever gonna be one winner.
Carniny fitness just completely overrun the Homers second half and were creating chances at will.
I thought Roger had a superb second half and gave McBurney a rough time.

I'd agree with that, Roger turned it on in the second half, Sherman shouting at him probably got him going ;D Thought Carninys first was offside?( could be wrong though) Second was a horrible error from Studds. |

Thought Rainey ran the Carniny defence ragged in the first half, 2nd half they stopped the supply to him and let Carniny dominate.
Thought Carniny still werent great 2nd half but it shows you how good a team they are when can beat a team who will challange them for a league without having to get out of second gear.

Ha ha Sherman just went off on one, saying Roger was s**te and he could't lace his Grannys boots  Studds is know for that mistake, i remember him doing it at Penarol years ago. |

Game was won in midfield second half. Gracey and Bambi totally dominated. Over-run sooty, campbell and foggy.

couldnt see carniny gettin anything after 1st half performance,dobbie must have been noisey at half time .homers could have finished with 9 men. well done lads great finish dowie quality

just caught 2nd half,,,.. was v disappointed with the game ... i thought big bambi had a great 2nd half . .. wee mo is diff class . when homers went down to ten men , scooty should have went off . his legs were ran off him . carniny had the wind 2nd half , said to my friend , throw everything down studds throat . it worked . thats my 3rd time cing studds play and he have threw in 4 ... his body frame isnt big enough . he got a good 2 hands to ball and the wee stick arms couldnt keep it out ..,.. poor crowd at a final ....... fri nites from now on |

I was right in line for Carniny's equaliser and Dowie was not offside. Great pass from Roger to Dowie later on to seal the game at 3-1.
As has been said, it was a game of 2 halves, Carniny starved their own wingers from the ball in the first half, Mo and Roger got more involved in the second and when they are firing, there is only going to be one outcome with the supreme BSML predator lurking about.
Thought wee Ryan Balmer stuck to his task well in marking Paul McNeill and when Paul was sent off, he moved over to mark their other danger man Alan Rainey.
Both keepers had nights to forget in all honesty. Who'd be a keeper? Only the mentally insane.
