dont know much about waveney...been a long time since i played them. looking forward to it though and should be a really tough test for us. we have started the season in relatively good form wining 2 out of 3 games and should of really got something out of the hollywell game. should be a good match providing we have full squad...."all welcome"  |

waveney 3-1 randalstown fc
junior
very tough game tonight against a well organised side, on the small pitch at waveney. we struggled to get kitty and mott in behind them, they were well marked and waveney played with sweepers as well so very hard to break down. Big gordie was very affective up front for them nodding balls down and causing us problems. we were two down at half time, we were probably the best team in the second half without creating any real clear cut chances...i scored from long range which got us back into it with about ten mins to go, we pushed for equaliser and got caught on the break.
good luck waveney the rest of the season, definately pick up alot of points at home...some good players also.

Very tough game for us tonight against a good Waveney team. A sloppy 15 minutes in the 1st half put us on the back foot after conceding 2 goals. But a reshuffle at half time saw us dominate the 2nd half, A great strike from Junior from 20 yards put us right back in the game, but we couldnt quite get the equiliser we deserved and got hit on the break with the last kick of the game! Cant see Waveney dropping too many points this year so especially dissappointing not to get a point. But after stepping up from the 3rd we're not too far off!

Absolutely smashing start for Waveney who were recently rumoured to be in a crisis...no signs of crisis so far beating some quality sides!!

Pushed them boys really hard in the 2nd half and thought you would get a draw after you scored but they were outstanding at the back.....keepers a real good un.....good luck in the next game.

yeah i mmust say a fantastic strikew , and i know how it feels to score such goals . i use to do it for a pastime , lol, but yes id have been proud of it myself , and no GORAM im fully nretired to assistant manager with the swifts , its a great job the wages are great , but the satisfaxction is more lolcmon the swifts and good luckl to the reds for the season
