Well we travel to the new boys this weekend in wat is our 1st league game, good start on tues nite and a really good n sharpe training tonight has set us up well for this! We beat these boys last year by a few in the cup but i'd expect it to be alot tougher this time around. Roll on sat morning. ;D ;D

5-2 win, 3 up after 11 mins then stopped, but credit to westend they keep at when other teams mite have give up, they got 2 back n we got 1 before half time, came out 2nd n played ok but couldn't score, they then got a pen n that goes in it's a different game, big Alec made a great save, we managed to get another but should of scored more, all n all a win is a win and a decent start tho we need to finish teams off!
All the best to westend for the season, decent wee team!

It was a decent game to watch, Carniny looked like they would run away with it, westend brought it back and missed a penalty. Carniny looked like scoring more. A very dangerous team. Good luck to Carniny the rest of the season

was a good wee game...thot wee played sum nice football..especially at the bac wee bamber ws brilliant for us today! hat trick for dowie on first league game of the season..always nice tho he shuda scored a few more lol westend r a decent side.at times they knocked it about well.nice to see rather than hoof hoof hoof like most teams. they shud hold their own this year in the first. |

Yes best you know me, always missing chances, we need to learn to that 2 3 4 even 5 sometimes is'nt enough, win and win by as many goals as you can, so keep putting them on a plate for me ;-)
