Pre-season games are all about fitness and trying to put in good performances in but it was nice to get a decent result against a higher league team this morning and in the end with a bit of luck we could have snatched a draw which the 2nd half performance probably deserved.
Bit short in numbers again which left us with 4 subs, Stevie Phillips, Davy Brown, Bobby Carson and 16 year old William McCullough, although we had Wiggsy back (for 10 minutes
)
Worst possible start for us with Corner scoring inside 30 seconds
Both teams had a couple of half chances before Corner scored a second, a cracker from 25 yards. In that time we lost Wiggsy with a badly split head which meant 'young' Bobby Carson had to come on We got a goal back through a really well taken goal from Tom Agnew. Corner scored again before half time from a good header from a corner.
Niall and Leroy came off at half time and Corner made alot of changes as well bringing a few younger lads on. We got a goal back from a poaching fish ( ;D) goal from a corner. We had a few other half chances which we just couldnt finished but we dominated the second period.
Plenty of positives to take from the game, Fish and Tom Agnew were superb up top throughout, back 4 were very solid second half and once again Aaron was superb in the middle of pitch too. All the subs done really well when they came on too.
Another tough gameTuesday night agaisnt Rasharkin especially with a few lads carrying knocks now too but will be another great workout.

? Alot better in the second today lads and was tough with the lack of numbers, were they were able to chnage nearly the whole team! Rest up and get ready for tueday night!!
