Was shocked when i heard this this morning. Our thoughts are with Adrian and family. Would like to thank Housty and the Newpark boys for agreeing to call off tomorrow nights friendly as a mark of respect

A great loss to those who had the pleasure of knowing him,witty and articulate,loved his football and his gaa in equal measure and thon wee round butt butt ding ding will be missed in Randalstown by his friends. Gone but never forgotten Funeral 11 @ the pineapple in Randytown on Thurs.

Jimmy is a neighbour of mine, the estate has been packed all day, just shows us how much the man was liked about this town, he will be missed by all around here, a true gentleman!

Played along side Jim. A skilful, determined agressive left back. A great wee guy who will be missed. Thoughts are with his family.

just heard, to flea and the porter family i am sorry for your loss, got to know jimmy while at fc and had a great laugh with him, obvious he loved his sport whether soccer or gaa, very shocked at this, please pass on sympathies to flea or send me his number donko, thanks
