Why is this game on a Tuesday for anyway, 2nd div league matches not supposed to be on mon and wed I'd say it was to be played on monday but because 3rd div cup final is monday night they moved it to tuesday! Have no idea, but its just a guess! |

What a turn up for the books  NE massive favourites now and i think Dunloy have a big Hurling match on Tuesday ;D It's been a great finish to the second so credit to both teams, well done lads. yes, theres hurling and gaelic training in dunloy (very important to train) and in loughgiel too....think wer light for the northend game. alot of fringe players getting a game on tue.. o dear chris big Gorum won't b pleased way this post!!!he has banned them all from usin the forums lol who's the daddy ;-) |

Cheers Phil.Maybe Connor will beat Fc Antrim today and the wee mills will slip in the back door to the play offs.I bet Ahoghill are pure gutted tonight.Honestly,with playing against both sides Ahoghill were the better team (technically) but NE have a physical side that will stand them in good stead in the first when you have to dig in and grind out results every week. We dont play conor until next sat. Its our last league match but hopefully not our last game this season  Ah right,i think tey're down so i'd say yous will be safe enough.Best of luck in the play offs.The run you boys have went on recently yous might be the dark horses to go up? |

Well done carnlough today, was a great battle.
We just didn't do enough on the day and against NE and penerol in other games. We're still promoted and there was still a party in the diamond ;D

Northend went down will sole intentions to watch a game of football, weather Thistle won lost or drew we as a club agreed if they clinch the title we woulda stayed and congratulated them. A few of us went and offered or commiserations to Ahoghill and although a few of them shook hands, (Bale, hammy, Danny Brown, and even Conkers) their manager didn't cover himself in glory.  This season has been a long hard fought 1 and it has been a joy to be part of, IAH I would still be posting even if thistle had a won. correct . i wouldnt shake ur hand . why would i .... u shouted break his leg to a few of my players ......... ..... as much as i hate sum people . i wouldnt want to c any 1 in plaster .... why the f**k did u want to cum at the end and shake my hand . as usual trying to stir up tensions .... no wonder bc haunted u |

To be fair big man i was standing on the line & heard the guy who i think is there manager (looks like he's fond of the sunbeds) giving the Northend boys a talking to about shaking hands regardless at full time, be respectful & don't get involved in any ould s**te if anything happened. Pretty sure this was just before we got the pen. Thought your players, management & you were a credit to your club today. I missed this no handshake thing but have to say pretty much your whole team shook hands with me & all had good words to say about us. I've no doubt they were absolutely gutted & to me you's were very sporting in defeat. |

IMO no mate, but i will likely be proved wrong, don't get me wrong, them 3 players you mentioned are very good but is it a much changed team from last year ?? Gonna disagree with you again Dowie i honestly think Northend have a great 2nd division squad and plenty of experiance within aswell. I think its gonna be another cracking league this year. good shout pele ur never to far wrong as forth at dowie boi dame all these old posts are quality to read :-) |

I think if thistle had won today they would have been respectful to the chase northend put on, as it happens northend have the chance to lift it.
With the bad blood between thistle and dunloy, no doubt they will throw the game.

If this was your sole intentions, why the barrage of abuse from the sidelines, between breaking legs and shouting abuse at the ahoghill goalkeeper and various other players not to mention the shouting from the motors as the cars left the swifts car park. if someone shouted for my kegs to be broke last thing Id be doing is shaking hands, id want nothing to do with them, and from what I seen today of SOME (as I know not all ne members were involved) I doubt very much they would be shaking either. Don't paint yourself whiter than White when anyone who was at the match today could see clearly use were not.
Thistle didn't play as well as they should have on the day, they have had a great run all season, as have many other teams, north end included, and it was gutting for them to finish their league season on the result today. The same way it would have been gutting for ne had thistle won today.
All is not lost as promotion is not to be laughed at.
Good luck to ne on tues night and to both teams for the final.
