b nice to see an up to date league table! think us dropping 2 points on sat has ruled us out of automatic promotion, dunloy could still be in wif a shout tho, but northend beating the thistle was big result in terms of top 2 Dunloy have no chance. 11 behind northend & northend a game in hand. Use that link, think its as close to accurate as you'll get. www.nifootball.co.uk/index.php/standings/category/bsml-division-2

Plenty of good battles left in the second. Top two looks very tight. Both have to come to carnlough, think both have to play penarol & there may be fixtures with dunloy. Playoffs should be dunloy, penarol are in, we need another win to get in & its quite tight for the last place with 3 or 4 teams within a few points. At the bottom st comgalls & connor are all but gone. Atm it looks bad for waveney but win their games in hand & they can give themselves a chance. Plenty still up for grabs in the 2nd. The squad you's had that day against the Towers looked very strong, if you's could get that out against the top two in Carnlough things will be far from easy for them. ps you's had some management team that day, i went for a slash and there must of been 6 boys picking the side in the hallway ;D Make it 4, two of us were queuing for a dump

Northend remaining fixtures are
Penerol Carnlough Waveny Cloughmills (all away)
Connor Holywell Dunloy ( home)
I'm sure there's still a surprise or 2 in store for both teams

Both teams have 3-4 games that are far from gimmes. Going to be tight. Just hope it doesnt come down to a bad referee or something.

Herby m8 in all honesty dunfane doesn't suit us and bar saturday's game our better performances have all came away from home on bigger pitches but as I said I feel there's still a few twists and turns left in this title race.

You are in luck coming to Carnlough next wed night as the first hurling game is on same night which rules a few of the home players out!

i dont want to cook heads but its a big game for use on wed here mate. thistle home to waveney who u would expect them to take care of...so use need to make sure and win to keep pressure on and esp to keep momentum after sat. if use can win on wed nite i would say it is back to a 50-50 call between u and thistle for league. up until this point thistle have always been very small favourites IMO !! all the best im just hoping all this league chat distracts use from the cup

I totally agree herby about wednesday night and I know for a fact its goina be a real challenge for us but if we can bring what we brought to the ahoghill game on wednesday I feel we will just shade it but its far from a forgone conclusion.
P.s use are on a great run at the moment and we also know our cup tie will be another battle which could go either way

Think the 2nd Div will hold us alrite, wouldn't want tanked everyweek in the 1st

I wonder has monty looked into the possibility of hiring a helicoptor for the last day of the league season? As it stands if we win our remaining 2 fixtures against waveny and holywell and thistle do the biz against connor it will all come down to our game at home to dunloy and ahoghill's away to carnlough. Both difficult fixtures but its ahoghill's to lose all we can do is keep the heads down and keep winning games. Helicopter saturday let's be having ye......

Wouldn't like to be heading to carnlough needing a win, 1 of the hardest away fixtures in the bsml but ahoghill will be big favourites. Believe muffin

Wouldnt say we f**ked it up, we were always trailing Thistle and had a very very tough game at Cloughmills. Also losing our 2 full backs early on in the 1st half didnt help. But aww well our objective was to be promoted and we done that, and I wouldnt rule us off of the league just yet as we all know footballs a funny old game ;D
