Well we got underway this morning and were on the sore end of a Bobby Carson killing session. Very tough going but obviously first class...the man know's what he's doing. Great turn out with only a small number of players missing. We also got to welcome some new signings to the MAC, Don Revie, who looked very sharpe and raring to go, Fusco who himself is starting the long hard road to fitness after a serious double leg break in October last year and our Dessie Burt who kept Mitty (injured again  ) entertained with tales of his triple heart bypass, showing him the scars (which he couldn't see) and trying to sleg us on the pitch. Great to see these new players in getting started and I'd just like to welcome them and ask they give us their all...something I have no doubt they'll do!! It's going to be tough lads, having gained promotion via the playoffs, going up into a very high standard of league, we all need to get on that training ground and give it everything we have. Michelin deserve to be playing at the top level of the BSML and are a fantastic club. Let this pre season get us into shape to do it justice and meet the big step up, ready to compete against quality. It's all brilliantly set up, the entire pre season schedule marked out and planned....lets get it done!! |

...also, there was this other fella there who asked me to come on here and inform the members that the next time he's on he's changing his name from nobodysman to TrialMichelinMan...

Well said MrFish, agree 100%. looked a great wee session  Ive said it before, we are very lucky to have Bobby as a coach. Second what fish says as well welcoming the new lads Don Revie, Fusco and Runnerdome and a welcome return for themanwhocantfindaclub  Hopefully a couple more lads to come into the squad too. As you say its great the schedule has been mapped out for all pre-season training and the games were playing too. Me and Rubberdome were deep in conversation throughout discussing our many near career ending injuries . Though for a change Im not injured, it was agreed with managment as Im only back 2 days from Honeymoon I could extend it until Monday  ;D . Plus I went out and got blocked last night |

In all seriousness lads, great to see Michelin back in the top flight a tremendous set up out there which any club would love! With big Frog gone now, what is the management set up now? The club certainly deserves to be in the first division with the facilities we have there so hopefully with a bit of hard work and getting the squad to stick together we can establish ourselves as a first division club Pele its Rab is charge, Davy Brown as assistant and Bobby will do most of the coaching. |
