Is there anywhere that you can see a list of were teams play their games at? Just had a quick look & there are 8 teams I have no idea of what town/village they play in. There are also 3 teams (that i know of) who play their games outside the town/village they are named after. Perhaps it would be an idea to have one thread or alternatively a thread on each teams page with addresses & details of were they play at. I know last season there was a few times i was going to go to games & never went as I didn't know were it was being played.

...still don't think it's a bad idea though and maybe something we could ask each moderator to do for their respective teams.
Think it might be a good idea for the forum to hold as much info on our leagues as possible.

Each team secretary gets a list of teams and the address of their home grounds at start of season

Each team secretary gets a list of teams and the address of their home grounds at start of season Good point too. I was thinking just purely on the information levels for this forum as there are a lot of non players on here too, wouldn't hurt having team details on an individual thread in each teams section. Wouldn't take a lot to do either. Just a wee idea, no harm in discussing it. Agree though with Donko and Pele, the info is given in various forms and quite easily obtainable so from the point the origonal poster was making you're both spot on. Again, I'm only thinking on adding info to our forum.

was thinkin on this the other night. if we'd a section in the forum of team info. contact name email/phone location of home pitch team colours etc.
also if we could get monty or jnr88 to email a mod or give him "status" on another seperate section so that he can post the fixtures each week?

IMO, the more information about the BSML on these forums the better.

Dinger, firstly the BSML does not recognise this forum as any part of the BSML. And I know for a fact that when this forum was first created, young Pavel approached Monte to copy him in with fixtures results etc, but it was declined. For me, this forum has had a good part to play in the recognition of the BSML and for that at least it should be acknowledged by the league committee, and with that they should embrace it and assist were necessary. Only my opinion. No offence intended to the league nor to the current committee.

No offence intended to the league nor to the current committee. yeah I remembered somthing like that years ago. i can see why tho with some of the yahoo's we've had on here airing their views on certain things. maybe there is another way we can get the fixtures each week..guardian or times online etc. if we can provide more information for everyone on the forums it can only be good for everyone that uses here & may bring in more members etc. if there was a BMSL section that could be locked for only a select few to post on, we could use it to provide more info for all the players/clubs of the league. leading goalscores contacts ban's BMSL info from the meetings etc. it may be worth approaching the committee again for this info. we've been going since 2004 now & the better we spread the word about the league/teams/history the better more it will benifit the BMSL.

No offence intended to the league nor to the current committee. no offence taking bremner!! the league has reasons not to have an official involvement with the fourms because if it did then teams could possibly be accountable for what some "idiot's" who claim to be involved witn them say!! i do agree that the forums are now a major part of the league though and i would be more than willing to post fixtures results league tables etc up after every round of games if this is what people want!! as regards posting list of secretaries etc i think that would be up to each club individually to do this as i am not sure whether all secretaries would want their details posted on these or any forums!!

As for friendlies apart from 1 crowd I had an agreement with (Glanville FC, Belfast) from ages ago I know nothing of what friendlies are arranged. Would like to think they are already sorted

Regarding the list of secretarys, I think it would have to be edited somewhat as the list Monty sends round to each Sec contains their phone number and house address........ I don't think most of the secs would want some if the rockets on here knowing that info..... maybe just Team name, colours, location of ground could be the way forward

Haven't played in near 10 years and even 5 a side its been over 3 years. I suppose the friendly details will be on the Facebook page at some point.
