After 7 years at the helm of the Waveney, Cecil has decided to call it a day and take a break.
All the players want to wish him all the best.
The Waveney now require a new manager and welcome anyone forwarding their name who have an interest.

Big man done a smashing job and finished on a nice wee high getting to the Rainey final.

Does this not happy almost every year and then after a month or so he says f**k it and gets stuck in again?? LOL...Waveney runs through that man's veins, I very much doubt the club has seen the end of big Cecil.
As said there the man's done a tremendous job and put in years of work and effort. Good luck to whomever decides to step into his shoes...

Whoever comes in has a big job on their hands, I fancied Waveney to really push for promotion this year.
If Cecil has resigned, can the boys come out of hiding now, or is the hitlist still in effect?

As I said to an aul mate of mine once (and when I say auld I mean I don't speak to him anymore!!), I said, Michael, you canny play and manage at the same time, ye won't enjoy...I'll remember his response to the day I stop eating KFC, "fack aff to Michelin Fish"... I think now though, in that thing they call hindsight, he'd maybe agree with that statement. Hope it works out for him but my own opinion is ye should enjoy playing while yer able and leave the managerial stuff til yer done....I should have started doing me badges years ago actually!!  |

Ballymena?? aye lenny both are looking for him but think hes on his way to wakehurst he will be a big loss too our team but hopefully we will get a few boys signed in the next few weeks and other boys will step up to the mark and i have no doubt if he doesnt like it he will be straight back to us and make us an even stronger team!!!! |
