Shes for closing allrite Pele  red up her account with us boys last week and will be sadly missed by all;she shoulda took it accross to the new stand when it opened. But sure hindsight is a great thing i suppose. |

Aye Harty dont think they have much time to get the money as far as im aware, not sure of the nitty gritty of the whole thing but i know they were close to closin a few years ago as well!! They have had a huge decrease in the number of members and they are not associated with Ballymena now either which i think has decreased profit!!
Me and Mitty were trying to get them to have DJs on a Sat night instead of country and western bands ;D Its a shame coz its cheap drink and no s**t in it!!

sad news indeed lads our norn ireland club runs from it along with a good few other supporters clubs. once the new stand went up & they sold beer there, that was always going to make it hard for the social to stay open they've been nothing more than great to me when i've needed meeting/dinners etc so will be a big loss for lots of folk |

My wedding is there in couple of months time. Rang yest to ask what the craic was but was told that it's the ex owners of the place that are in trouble (carmichael I think) and people are putting 2+2 together and getting 5 and that actually they have plans underway to expand the hotel!
Obviously if they were in bother they would spin one anyway in the meantime

Obviously if they were in bother they would spin one anyway in the meantime We were the same with our wedding a year and a half ago dingle, all this talk of galgorm closing, weddings being cancelled, the owners in debt up to their eyes, etc etc ...the amount of stories that come from a rumour. I remember ross park being talked about in the same manner also. Don't think you should have much too worry about...albeit having to wear a ring for the rest of your life! |
