1st of all oif any of this doesnt make sence its beacsue theres been a few drinks had in the mich tonght  Id like to say well done to Thislte tonight, it was truely an awful night to play football in but both teams tried as hard as they could to ut on a performance. Most importanltly I can first of all say fair play to Frog, Rab and Bobby Carson, the managment team at Mich, it was their intention tonight to play against the wind 1st half and play a 4-5-1 with Johnny Montgomery to sit on Gracey and stop him from controlling the game, and it worked well with either team not really having any real chances 1st half. 2nd half we brought Fish for Johnny on so we could have a go at thistle and it worked a treat with the wind behind us. We scored the first when after good work from Leroy, Sexy smashed one home from 20 yards. We scored a second when Sexy knocked the ball across for Fish to knock home. We could have had a couple more but for a couple good saves from Goram and in all fairness Thistle never really looked like scoring with too many opurtunities. Delighted when the final whislte went (even though I scored but the ref blew it up a second before I hit the open net  ) Appreciate most of the Thistle lads staying out to see us lift the cup and applaud us, especially Goram and Bale who both came over and spoke well after the game which was appreciated. I must say, without saying too much , Goram asked for one of our players after the game and apolgised to him for something which happened to our player for an incident which happened during the game. There was no need for Goram to do it but hand on heart not only did our player appreciate it, our whole team did too, sincerley. I know Thistle will be devastated with tonights result but Ive on doubt whatsover theyve got the right man in charge of their team who Im sure they will win Division 2 next season. On Mich, proud of the lads in the past 2 months of how we turned things around after 6 lossees in a row. In the past 6 games weve beat 4 of the top 6 teams ( Thistle, Shore, Waveney and St Comgalls) We are a great wee club filled with great prople as well as footballers. Bring on the 1st division next season   |

Mitty that kick at the end went wide Cheers Bale, ive no doubt if you keep that squad together and add the couple lads who will be signing ive no doubt you lads will be getting automatic promotion next season, though next year will be as strong as 2nd division as there has been in the past 5 years. Lads, finally Michelin F.C will ply their trade in the BSML's top flight where they deserve. A lot of very committed Michelin players and manager's involved with the club for a number of years and it's my opinion those people deserve the chance to test themselves at the top. It was great to be part of that last night (eventually) when Froggy took my leash aff!! ;D ;D ;D Well done everyone involved, from players, subs, squad, coaches and management....even Wallace Russel who kindly bought myself and Mr Sexton a few beer each last night....very well recieved!!  |

I'd also like to take a chance (not like me ;D) to give a special mention to big Sexton...
I have played, both for Broadway and now Michelin, up front with Stevie on and off for about 10 years now and never have I seen him play the way he has played this season. He has bagged a load of goals, his effort and hard work is first class and he has improved his hold up play and has even started giving me chances!! LOL.
Just want to say a very big well done to Sexton on a brilliant season and IMO the biggest reason Michelin are now heading for Division 1!!
Well done big man!!!

Now that your team is in the 1st next season Fish does that mean your gonna leave them and play in the 2nd again, as in your own words "am not good enough for the 1st sham". You done it with Broadway last year. hahaha only messing ya ballix ye, well done mate pleased for you, trevor, that tube easyeasy84 (stevie elliotts love child) and that hairy bassid andymurphy and nearly forgot wee Tulls as well. |

Aww I'll miss u guys think the big derby match brought the best out in me!! Lol I was well against u, tommy and big sexton over the last few years!! Big man spoiled it in that last game tho! Def agree with what u said about the big man, def made a big difference to the mich. It'll b a gd pairing when ur fully fit lad, I remember u scored a couple when I played my first game for the mich many years ago!! Some folk don't lose it fish, just misplace it for a few years!! Lol gd luck in first mate!!
