well how the f**k was a fan able 2 run on2 a pitch and attack a manager...think about it f**k sake....catch a grip harty If you want to get on a pitch you will get on. there isnt enough poice in any ground to stop people getting on to the pitch if they really want to. think about it f**k sake |

Talking to a diehard bhoy about this all day, he says theres on big winner out of all the Neil Lennon business at the minute ....Sky TV and the rest of the media. Its being talked about all over the world at the minute so Sky are just sitting back, keep running stories about it just to keep everybody continually interested and wait of the viewers coming flooding in.
On to the events now. Judging by Lennons face and body language last night after the attack, it looks like he will walk away from it at the end of season. Just had a glazed look as if to say why to feck am I putting myself and my family through this week in and week out. Theres a big difference of getting threats than somebody actually phyiscally attacking him. Scary thing is if somebody is prepared to do that in front of 20,000 fans and millions on TV, what could happen to him one night walking down the street on his own/with his kids etc. Its just not worth it. It must be a nightmare for him at the minute
In saying that and in no way am I saying he deserves any of the things which are happening to him, but he's surely got to realise sooner or later that sometimes his actions and what he says rub people up the wrong way, and unfortunatley some morons react to this and then this kind of s**t happens. He's a Celtic supporter, played for them for years, he knows what the scottish league, rivarly between the old firm and other clubs , the sectarian element in the SPL and our country is like, etc these clubs, he knows what they are about and sometimes I think common sense should kick in for him.
I know the Celtic fans love him, and Im sure the board are delighted with what he's done in his first full year as manager, but I sometimes wonder if some members of the board think he doesnt do the clubs reputation any good at all.

ally/smith dont sing on you-tube ,spit on celtic scarfs etc.miss important 1min silences for dead gers fans.c'mon be realistic he has done things to wind up not just gers fans but the whole lge.mourinho was brill at using press conferences to be hated like cloughy.but lennon just lost the plot at stages with his mangement skills.theres winding up other teams then theres total disrespect and asking for big trouble.all said and done the bombs/bullets are ott but i doubt there nothing more than a scare tactic.obvious the way there addressed etc.1 under the car would be diff,he never really got a slap so i wont say the punch was ott but last knife he could of had his throat cut.still.madness.there attacks from diff fans all stem from 1 place,lennons personality.he cant carry on being a manager.hes a phyco that has pulled all this on his family.will annoy folk but its the truth.time for him to put his familys lifes 1st and leave maybe on a high winning the scottish cup.dont say ally or walter did half the stuff he done.hes done as much as diouf.....prob more.kinda sick of poor lennon poor lennon.if he calmed the hell down and got on with football injstead of causing s**t the tensions might ease.no he misses min silences,mouths to the media,he wants a circus at celtic park and got 1.... If el hadj diouf a player who has spat on opposition players and fans and shouted abuse at a player lying down with a broken leg had got the s**t lennon has got i wouldnt come on here and say ah well he brings it on himself it sound to me as if yous are condoning what has happened to him |

also the board wont sack him just because he didnt win the league in his first season, lennon is building a team for the future, look at some of the players he has brought in commons, kayal, hooper and izaguirre if he can keep hold of them he should do even better next year and jeff you forgot to metion smith is gone next year and ally mccoist whos no real expierance is taking over

Thats just celtic. im sure there are a hole host of attempted attacks on players/managers. On one of my old bloopers videos from south america one ref had to climb a wire fence to get out of the ground as the fans were gona kill him. Pitch invasions have always happend and always will said it before if someone wants to get onto the pitch badly enough they will especially in this modern age of no fences at matches. |
