Funny story about UFC and a guy I work with in Belfast (funny enough is nicknamed Rocketman)
He properly loves UFC, so much so he was over at the London event last year and bought a £350 replica UFC Championship belt which he can often be seen wearing around Belfast pubs and clubs at he weekends
Oh aye this guys 32 ;D
Anyway, he bought 2 x £400 ringside tickets for the up and coming event in Vegas in the next couple weeks and has paid over £3,000 in total (flights, hotel, etc) He found out in the past couple days that the main fight of the night, which was the fight he really wanted to see has been cancelled and been replaced with a lesser fight.
He's also on twitter and follows the UFC head man Dana White, so after taking a s**t attack about this he started giving Dana White direct abuse via twitter last night. Dana Whites went properly nuts at this and has been replying directly back to rocketman giving him all kinds of abuse and calling him names under the sun (he came down and showed everybody the replies today!)
His 'attack' on White has apparenlty became pretty big news in all MMA websites and forums in America and Rocketman is getting dozens of random 'tweets' from MMA supporterts either supporting him or threatening him
He's still going to the event but is really worried now knowing that White is only a few seats away from him he's going to get his f**k knocked in ;D ;D
